D-Man

Dallin is all BOY. Dirt, climbing, superheroes, wrestling, digging, cars, creepy crawlies, etc. you name it, he loves it. The past couple weeks, he has found 2 grasshoppers and a frog, all which he named after his favorite heroes. He's wanted all 3 of them to spend the night in his room , forgot to bring Superman inside before it snowed, cried over letting Ironman go, and was cracking up watching Batman freak me and Kailee out. I love my little dude, but definitely not his "buddies".

Barnyard Boo

Thanksgiving Point has some pretty fun activities for Halloween. We went to Farm Country for Barnyard Boo. The kids and their friends had a lot of fun doing all the activities that were available. There are a lot of pictures, but the last 3 pictures have a story to them...

Cookies...
Crafts...
Cheesy smiles...
Croquet...
Pony rides...
Cowboys...
Bowling...
Cute family in cutout pumpkins...
Tattoos...
Sleepy Hollow carriage ride...
and fear of the Headless Horseman!!!
During the Sleepy Hollow carriage ride, we saw the Headless Horseman. We all thought it was a statue. When it started moving, we figured it was a dummy on the horse, then it started following us trying to reach for our heads. At that point, the kids were super freaked and Kailee was almost in tears. When we got off, they started laughing about it. 5 minutes later, he started making its way up to us. Of course, Kailee was bawling her eyes out. Fear of losing her head, I guess. We had to let her know it was just a costume. After that, she tried to convince us she wasn't scared whatsoever, but would NEVER go on the ride again. I love being scared at Halloween time!

Friends

When you don't live by family, you learn quickly how important friendships are. We were able to have a fun week with friends that we see all the time, old friends we haven't seen in a long
time, friends we should see more often, and make 1 new friend (that I wouldn't mind not ever seeing again...picture will explain!!!).

Alexa, my best friend from high school, came up to SLC for work. I was able to go out with her and meet up with Cache, another friend I grew up with.

One night was GNO. We danced and watched people dance....I'll tell you I forgot how entertaining a single person can be when they think they rock...better than Chris Farley trying out for Chippendales with Patrick Swayze.

While all the dads were at priesthood session, the kids and moms had a cupcake night. More kids came later, so the kids had fun decorating, licking, playing, eating, and more playing, while all the moms got to talk and just enjoy adult company.

Tylie's little buddy, Jameson, is going to be a lifesaver in nursery. It's really cute to watch them play together. Luckily, Chaunda, it's next month!!

This is Dallin's new friend, Superman. If he never came back to play, I would perfectly fine with it.

We went to the Jazz game with Jenn and Nate. Whenever we are with them, we always have fun, even  if the Jazz doesn't win...

Jamie and I have been friends forever! She is moving next month, which is super sad, but luckily enough we got to spend 3 days in a row with her! The only thing that would have made it better, would have been to have Janna Hart Lee here.

We wanted to watch a scary movie, and I think Skeleton Key had just the right amount of fear factor in it for us. We tried to pose, but like always, we couldn't stop laughing!
