So, if you have ever gone to Buca di Beppo, you know how fun it can be. We had 11 people all together sitting at a round table, with the pope, yes the pope, in the middle of it. It was great. There was this thing, more of a challenge than anything else, about it the pure frosting balloons on Gus' cake. Absolutely hilarious!!! Nate took stared at his balloon for a good 5 minutes, I swear that I saw beads of sweat on his brow. Jenn, his wife and I showed him how it is done. Needless to say, I will not be eating frosting for awhile. As witnesses will tell you, it was gross and disgusting! The huge amount of frosting got stuck on our teeth, tongue and all the way going done. But, it was totally funny. Nichole, thanks for getting these on camera! Totally priceless experience. We have all decided for everyone's birthday, we will all be going out to dinner, though I hope no one brings any balloon cakes...ugh!!! The slideshow in the corner shows pics of everyone there and of the scary balloons.

Did the Pope's blessing settle well with everyone? Too funny. Happy (can I say the age) Birthday Gus..love your YOUNGER sister-in-law!
I think Gus got the blessing...although Nate really needed it!
That was a blast we are so glad Gus had a Bday!
It was so much fun!! We need to find out who's birthday is next and go from there. We also need to plan our next game night. No kids this time?!?!?! As for Gus..he is 29, next year will be a bigger year. When I turn 30, I am staying 30!! Never having an over the hill party, just a 30th (for the 10th time), for the rest of my life.
I'm glad you guys have a blog. I love looking at your pictures. Your kids are so cute.
