Our 5 Year Old
Today, Dallin turned 5. We had his "Tony Hawk" birthday party on Saturday. It was all boys, except for his "girlfriend" Hailey.
Today, I let him choose all the activities. Which involved opening presents before Gus left for work, buying more toys with his birthday money, wanting to go to the mall and play but changing his mind (as we were driving) and wanting to see a movie instead, and playing at some random park we saw on the way home. We played at that park for awhile when he decided he wanted to get back to his toys he just bought. On our way out, a little boy asked him if it was his birthday. D of course, got a huge smile on his face and said yeah!! The boy then gave him his t-ball bat (way random, but way cute).
When Gus got home, we went to Chuck E Cheese's.
We came home, sang happy birthday, ate cake and ice cream and opened more presents. Now that everything is said and done, I can't believe how fast he is growing up!!

Happy Birthday little man. We had a little melt down here tonight with Taylor and when I finally got things together, I knew he'd be in bed. So we'll call tomorrow and just prolong his b-day one more day! Love ya

We actually did a party this big last year too!! It's a blast!
His party was so cute. Stratton's highlight though, was when Adam hit him on the head with a stick(?). He just brought it up again today. Anyway, it was such a cute theme. Stratton also mentioned today about your idea for Dallin and him to get together and play with their lightsabers.
Wow five already! Looks like you guys had a blast :-) Oh...and my kids never sleep at the same time for naps. In fact, Linnae doesn't even take naps. Grrr. Oh well!I didn't either when I was a kid so I guess I'm getting a taste of my own medicine.

We actually lived in CO for 4 years before we moved to AZ. We didn't like Az very much. Then Dan got a great job with Hershey in Southern CO. We've only been here 2 weeks, but we love it. I only wish it wasn't so far from CA. I hope you are doing well!
