I don't know who came up with the saying "As easy as taking candy from a baby", but they must not have tried it before. Tylie has become obsessed with suckers! I am not sure how it started, but I came to the realization that it's a sad day when a 14 month old screams at her 4 year old sister for not sharing her sucker. Kailee let Ty have a lick, but Ty got ahold of it, and OMG! Trying to take it out of the little girls hands with her death grip was nearly impossible. Plus, the screaming that followed...it was so not worth it! At the store, one of the workers was handing out suckers to the kids, so Dallin and Ty got one (Kailee was playing at a friend's house). No matter what, Ty didn't put the thing down. She ate her sandwich, drank her sippy, crawled around and never let the sucker out of her hands. In one picture, her sucker was caught in a book, and instead of using her other hand to get it out, she just dipped her mouth down to lick it. I guess after this post I am off to the store to get a bag of dumdums!

I love the pictures! I miss Tylie and am bummed she was sleeping last time I was over there. I will definitely get you some dum dums when I am at church in Sunday, they usually have them in the library. You will have to hide them from the kids.
I never thought of that phrase before but you are totally right. Try to take anything a child wants out of their hands and it's a full on tug of war.
That is too cute! I love the top picture. The bank we go to gives the kids suckers when they visit. So each time we go the kids expect it and sometimes demand it. There have been times they have asked me to go to the bank just to get a sucker.
I don't think anyone got the most pleasure out of this post than Jordan--that's what happens when you have the most beautiful child ever created. We'll try to remember to bring loads of suckers when we come next weekend to keep her happy.
p.s. I've read all except for the last 100 pages of Breaking Dawn, but I should have it finished by the time we come visit you. We'll definitely be able to talk about it.
Tylie is such a cute girl.
can't wait to see pics of her walking, oh wait, maybe I'll be seeing it in person soon!!
I love it! I wish D had never been introduced to them myself. If he ever catches a glimpse...he begs for a "ya-ye-pop" forever!!!
That is funny. Jayda has never got the satisfaction of tasting a sucker yet but I bet she would be the same way. I love how she was leaning down to suck on it in the last pict, thats funny.
Oh, evil suckers. Paris never had one until Bishop Pitts. Very naughty. Once they start, there is not stopping. Make sure you post the pic of when the sucker gets stuck in Tylie's hair. She is such a cutie.
Notice that the saying says "Candy" not "sucker". My kids loved suckers, and they are still obsessed with them! There is no way I can pry a sucker out of their hands! Good Luck!
